Nineteen

Today I celebrated my nineteenth birthday. Time is really flying!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!

There are no pictures nor video of my Thanksgiving 2010 :( so sad... here is a not so detailed list of what I did today :)

9 o'clock I woke up, and sent out Happy Thanksgiving texts.
11 o'clock we were out the door and headed to Grandmas house!
12 o'clock we arrived at grandmas, my dad and I were starved so we ate a Costco roll. (It just isn't Thanksgiving without a Costco roll)
1 o'clock my cousins arrived and we played the "Family game" It is a pretty spectacular game.
2 o'clock my family left and headed to Wal-mart. I found what I wanted for Christmas a Beyblade, and a Justin Bieber teddy bear!
3 o'clock we left Wal-mart and headed to Clifton, VA.
4 o'clock we arrived at a cute little restaurant where we met with some more cousins and grandparents.
6 o'clock we drove home.
8 o'clock we watched PUNKIN CHUNKIN, and I made puddin' cause Josh and my dad desperately needed some
11:50 I decide to write a post
11:59 my comp froze for a minute, so my "Thanksgiving"was posted NOT on Thanksgiving...

Grrr it was November 25 exactly one minute ago...oh well :)

Romeo and...

Hello! I should be finishing up my English paper right now... :)

I don't know if many of you are aware of my fear of "Horseback Riding".  Now I love horses, I think they are adorable, but I prefer not to ride on their backs. I was not always frightened by these majestic creatures.  It was the summer of 2004, Deep Creek Lake MD. My family was on vacation, so we all decided to go horseback riding. (my first time) I was given a horse by the name of 'Ginger' She was gray with black spots.  The ride was going great, I was just getting comfortable when Ginger thought it would be so fun to lift her front legs and do a black beauty pose!....OK so maybe not that extreme...We continued down the trail till we reached a point where a decision was to be made, go right or go straight. Everyone went right, even Ginger, until she saw my cousins horse go straight. And straight we went. We could not get the horses to stop and turn around! Eventually they turned around and met up with the rest of the group. So at that point horseback riding was no more! Until....

This is what Romeo looked like :D
My little cousin Abby just had a Birthday. So her older sister Brie wanted to take her horseback riding. I got the invite over text, and my response was, Sure I'll go. So I met them at their house and we were on our way. I was shaking the WHOLE ride up. When we arrived the massive creatures were roaming the fields. After waiting for the clock to strike 12pm it was time to begin the journey.  My back was turned from the horses due to my fear. My heart jumped when I heard the words "Girl in the green hoodie..." yep that was me. I walked over to the legit cowboy standing with the white horse. I'm sure I looked like a 5 year with fear in my eyes. Then I was introduced to the horse. "This here is Romeo." said the legit cowboy. I thought to myself "how could a horse named Romeo be evil." The ride ended up being a blast, my horse was a sweetheart and nothing traumatizing happened. THE END :) Oh and I crossed a river on horseback, one more check of my bucket-list ;)

Be thankful for November

November is my all time favorite month. Everything about this month is perfect: cold weather, my birthday, warm toasty fires, my birthday, the sweet fall air, beautiful dying leaves, and thinking it's gonna snow when you know it will most defiantly not. But the highlight of all my Novembers is Thanksgiving. I absolutely love Thanksgiving, but I can NOT stand, when stores skip Thanksgiving and move right on to Christmas. Excuse me? Thats rude! I don't want to see Christmas trees, I want to see families gathered around a big table, and turkeys, not snowmen, and jingle bells!...Now there are two rules that I follow when it comes to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Rule #1. I will not listen to christmas music until Thanksgiving day.
Rule #2. Nightmare Before Christmas must be watched Thanksgiving night.
I faithfully follow these rules every year, so it's annoying when I walk into a store and hear "Here come Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus LA LA LA..." playing over the speakers! Phew...
OK I'm done.
